Gluten free Chocolate Brownie
CHOCOLATE BROWNIES – Gluten free
INGREDIENTS:
150g Dark Chocolate, broken into small pieces
150g Butter
2 medium eggs
150g Castor sugar
100g Plain gluten free flour (or Besan flour)
100g Chopped nuts (or Choc chips)
So this is the naughty recipe – the healthier version is to follow – Paleo Brownies
METHOD:
- Preheat oven to 180oC
- Prepare square cake tin by lightly greasing and lining with baking paper
- Place butter in heat proof bowl and heat over hot water, when melted add chocolate and stir till melted
- Place eggs and castor sugar in a medium bowl and beat till slightly thickened
- Stir in melted chocolate
- Stir in flour and nuts or choc chips
- Pour into lined pan
- Place into moderate oven and bake for around 35 mins or until the centre is set
- When cooked, remove from oven and leave in pan for 5-10 mins
- Carefully remove from pan and allow to cool completely
- Slice into squares
