Co-V 19
I just wanted to give you all a little perspective update on my stance with CV-19.
It’s changing not daily, but hourly as we all know, but here are some important things that may be helpful to consider:
Prevention without Panic
Please continue all the usual precautions of
- Hand washing with soap
- Resist touching your face
- Cough etiquette
- Observing social distancing
- Avoid all non-essential group gatherings – especially with those that have been travelling
- Remember the virus can be cleared with use of mild soap and water.
- Wiping surfaces regularly where you’re concerned people have coughed – particularly important in workplaces, ATM machines,
- Handles of shopping baskets and trolleys are a great source of spread – wipe before using and/or your hands after use
- Child care centres being a mine-field of germs
Immune boosting
Some tips to boost your own immunity in conjunction to the above
- Increase nutrient density of your food choices – simply eat fresh foods that have more nutritional value – fruit and veg with protein
- Decrease toxic load to body – caffeine, alcohol, sugar, processed foods
- Stress management – stress does lower immunity – one of the issues around fear
- Sleep / Rest – the balance of work, exercise, play and rest
Herbs that help
- Echinacea
- Zinc
- Vit C
- Vit D
- Multi-Vitamin
- Medicinal Mushrooms
- Probioitics
- Turmeric and Ginger
Stay informed NOT feared
